The brand new Arsenal Home Shirt 2016-17 was provided by PUMA. Famous players of the club, including Santiago Cazorla, Olivier Giroud and Héctor Bellerín Moruno, wore the new home shirt for the first time. The white and red shirt shows the classic image of Arsenal.
Inspired by coaches, players and great victories in the 1990s, the home jersey combines classic design of previous shirts and innovative technologies of PUMA, showing respect for the club.
The new jersey features a white V-neck collar that comes from the 1990s’ jerseys. The iconic T7 PUMA stripe from shoulder to the sleeve shows the uniqueness of the club. A dark red vertical stripe is put on the front of the shirt. The letter “A” in navy blue is printed at the back of the shirt.
Olivier Giroud said:“PUMA has completed a great job. They gave us a traditional home jersey with modern technologies. Continuing the tradition is very important for our club. I know that fans will love this jersey very much and I look forward to putting it on for the new season.”
“We like the style of the jersey. I think fans will like it too. The new jersey is a bit retro. I like the stripe in the middle of the shirt, which makes it different. It looks very good when players wear it.” said Bellerín.
The latest ACTV Thermo-R technology can help athletes control body temperature when they are playing games.
The white shorts and red socks complete the home kit. Nowadays, cheap football kits are popular among fans. They often wear the shirt of the team they support to show loyalty. You can try this.
